Product Description
DRONE FISHING RIG 130lb Japanese Fujiyama Mono with 7/0 Circle hooks and 3-Way Branch Swivels
A Rig specifically designed for drone deployment for Snapper and other table fish. Made for easy drone attachment with an attachment loop going to a 3-way dropline swivel. Each hook is spaced 1.0 m apart on non-tangle branch swivels. We have taken all the guesswork out of this one for you. It’s as easy as attaching your sinker, baiting your hooks, clipping it on, and you’re rigged and ready for Drone fishing.
The 7/0 Stainless hooks on this rig will allow for a near-perfect hook-up rate. They are razor-sharp hooks and will self-set into the fish’s mouth. They are commercial-grade hooks, extremely tough and durable. These hooks are great for all sizes of Snapper but will also handle other species, including Jewfish, Samson Fish, Flathead and Gummy sharks, no problem.
Each critical connection point has been crimped to prevent a reduction in leader strength caused by knots. The Branch swivel used will eliminate any twist-ups and is crimped with a 1-meter spacing. The top of the rig is indicated with a glow bead.
If you want to suspend the baits off the bottom to try to avoid stingrays and Banjo sharks, simply put a float on the drone attachment loop. This will keep most of the gear off the bottom. A float can be submerged; just remember, you may now need a bigger lead to compensate. As always on deployment wind your line in to stretch the rig and avoid tangles, if you added this float you will now need to slacken line a bit to now allow float to lift the rig off the bottom. If you don’t use a float, snip the long tag on the drone attachment loop. (See photos for a better idea)
