Built-In 5.5-Inch FHD Display

DJI RC 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080.

The display delivers up to 700 nits of brightness and supports 10-point multi-touch control. Therefore, you can access DJI Fly, camera controls and flight settings directly from the controller.

Because the screen is built in, you do not need to connect a mobile phone for normal flight operations.

DJI O4 Video Transmission

The controller supports DJI O4 video transmission when paired with a compatible aircraft.

It uses two built-in antennas and two external antennas in a 2T4R configuration. As a result, the system provides stronger and more stable transmission than the previous-generation DJI RC.

With compatible aircraft, O4 can provide a smooth live view at up to 1080p/60fps. Transmission range varies with the aircraft, local regulations and operating conditions.

Improved Antenna Design

DJI upgraded the RC 2 antenna system from the earlier 1T2R design to 2T4R.

The controller uses four antennas in total. Two sit inside the controller, while two external antennas can be adjusted to improve signal orientation.

Therefore, pilots can maintain a more reliable connection during demanding flights.

Fast and Responsive Performance

DJI RC 2 uses an upgraded processor for smoother operation.

Menus, camera settings and flight controls respond quickly. In addition, the controller runs the DJI Fly app directly, so you can prepare for flight without setting up a separate phone.

32GB Internal Storage

The controller includes 32GB of built-in storage, with approximately 21GB available for use.

You can use this storage for screen recordings and cached media. In addition, a microSD card slot allows you to expand the available storage when required.

Up to 3 Hours Operating Time

The built-in battery provides up to 3 hours of operating time under DJI’s test conditions.

This gives you enough controller runtime for multiple flights before recharging. In addition, the USB-C port supports fast charging at up to 9V/3A.

With a suitable charger, a full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Customisable Controls

DJI RC 2 includes customisable C1 and C2 buttons.

You can assign commonly used functions through the DJI Fly app. Therefore, important controls can remain within quick reach during flight.

Lightweight Design

Despite its built-in screen, external antennas and active cooling system, DJI RC 2 weighs approximately 420g.

Its compact design makes it easy to carry with your drone equipment. In addition, the removable control sticks store neatly inside the controller for transport.
