The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro brings high-quality video transmission and advanced onboard recording to custom FPV drones.
It features DJI’s O4 video transmission system, a large 1/1.3-inch image sensor and recording up to 4K/120fps. In addition, its dual-antenna design supports a maximum transmission range of up to 15km under FCC conditions.
As a result, pilots can enjoy responsive control, clear live video and high-quality onboard footage from a compact FPV system.
DJI O4 Video Transmission
The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro uses DJI’s latest O4 video transmission system.
Its dual-antenna design helps maintain a stable connection during flight. In addition, the system automatically selects a suitable frequency to improve transmission reliability.
Under FCC standards and in an open environment without interference, the maximum transmission distance can reach 15km.
Actual range will vary with local regulations, interference and operating conditions.
1080p/100fps Live Video
The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro supports high-frame-rate video transmission at up to 1080p/100fps.
It also uses H.265 video encoding. Therefore, pilots receive clear and smooth live imagery while flying at speed.
This makes the system particularly well suited to FPV freestyle, racing and cinematic flying.
4K/120fps Onboard Recording
The O4 Air Unit Pro features a large 1/1.3-inch image sensor.
It can record video at up to 4K/120fps, providing detailed footage with smooth motion.
As a result, many pilots can capture high-quality footage without adding a separate action camera to the aircraft.
Racing Mode
The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro introduces a dedicated Racing Mode for low-latency FPV flying.
When used with compatible goggles, transmission latency can reach as low as 15 milliseconds.
Racing Mode also supports up to eight aircraft racing simultaneously, subject to local regulations and operating conditions.

Cinematic Image Quality
The large 1/1.3-inch sensor gives the O4 Air Unit Pro greater imaging capability than the standard O4 Air Unit.
Therefore, pilots can capture more detailed footage directly from their FPV aircraft.
The camera also supports ultra-wide-angle recording. As a result, it can produce an immersive FPV perspective without requiring an external action camera.
ND Filter Compatibility
The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro Camera Module works with the DJI Avata 2 ND Filter Set (ND8/16/32).
ND filters reduce the amount of light entering the camera. Therefore, they help maintain suitable shutter speeds in bright conditions.
This can produce more natural motion blur and more balanced exposure.

Canvas Mode & Betaflight OSD
The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro supports Canvas Mode and Betaflight OSD settings.
Therefore, pilots can customise the flight information shown inside compatible DJI goggles.

Important Notes
Transmission Range: The maximum 15km transmission range applies under FCC standards in an open outdoor environment without interference. Actual performance varies with local regulations and environmental conditions.
Racing Mode: Racing Mode requires DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3. In this mode, the default recording specification changes to 1080p/100fps.
Low-Latency Performance: The minimum 15ms transmission latency applies to the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro when used with DJI Goggles 3 in Racing Mode.
Multiple Aircraft: Racing Mode can support up to eight aircraft. However, local regulations and interference may affect actual performance.
ND Filters: The DJI Avata 2 ND Filter Set is sold separately.
