The EcoFlow WAVE 2 Portable Air Conditioner provides powerful cooling and heating in a compact, portable design.
With 5100 BTU of cooling capacity and 6100 BTU of heating capacity, the WAVE 2 is ideal for tents, caravans, RVs, workshops, small rooms and other compact spaces. In addition, it requires no permanent installation, so you can move it wherever you need comfortable air.
The WAVE 2 can run from AC power, solar, a vehicle power source or compatible EcoFlow power solutions. Therefore, it offers far greater flexibility than a conventional portable air conditioner.
Powerful Cooling and Heating
The EcoFlow WAVE 2 combines both air conditioning and heating in one portable unit.
It provides:
- 1500W / 5100 BTU cooling capacity
- 1800W / 6100 BTU heating capacity
- Adjustable temperature range from 16°C to 30°C
Under optimal conditions, EcoFlow states that the WAVE 2 can change the temperature of a compact 10m³ space by approximately 10°C in around five minutes.
As a result, it can quickly improve comfort in smaller enclosed spaces.
Cooling for Summer, Heating for Winter
Unlike many portable air conditioners, the WAVE 2 also includes a powerful heating function.
Therefore, you can use it throughout the year rather than only during hot weather.
For example, it can provide cooling during summer camping trips and heating during colder winter conditions.
No Permanent Installation Required
The WAVE 2 does not require permanent installation.
Instead, the supplied ducts and window vent board allow you to configure the unit for different spaces.
You can use it:

- In a caravan or RV

- In other compact enclosed areas
Because the system remains portable, you can easily relocate it when your requirements change.
No Drainage in Many Cooling Conditions
Traditional portable air conditioners often require regular draining.
However, the WAVE 2 includes a no-drain function during cooling under suitable conditions.
EcoFlow states that drainage is generally not required in cooling mode when relative humidity remains below 70%.
However, drainage is still required when using heating mode.
Quiet Sleep Mode
The WAVE 2 includes a dedicated Sleep Mode for quieter operation.
Noise levels can drop to approximately 44dB, helping make the unit suitable for overnight use in tents, caravans and bedrooms.
In addition, Eco Mode reduces energy consumption when maximum cooling or heating is not required.
Optional WAVE 2 Add-On Battery
For completely portable operation, you can connect the optional EcoFlow WAVE 2 Add-On Battery.
The battery has a capacity of 1159Wh and attaches directly to the WAVE 2. Therefore, you can operate the air conditioner without connecting it to mains power.
With the Add-On Battery, EcoFlow states that the WAVE 2 can provide up to approximately 8 hours of operation in Eco Mode, depending on conditions and settings.

Four Ways to Power and Charge
The WAVE 2 provides several options for portable operation.

Up to 400W Solar Input
The EcoFlow WAVE 2 supports solar input from 11–60V at up to 13A, with a maximum input of 400W.
Therefore, compatible solar panels can help power or recharge your WAVE 2 setup while camping or travelling.
Solar panels and associated charging cables are sold separately unless included in a specific bundle.
Compatible with EcoFlow Power Stations
The WAVE 2 integrates with EcoFlow’s portable power ecosystem.
For example, compatible EcoFlow DELTA power stations can provide extended operating time when mains electricity is unavailable.
The direct EcoFlow connection can also improve energy efficiency compared with powering the WAVE 2 through a conventional AC inverter connection.
EcoFlow App Control
The WAVE 2 supports smart control through the EcoFlow app.
Using the app, you can adjust operating settings and manage your preferred cooling or heating mode from a compatible smartphone.
Therefore, you don’t always need direct access to the controls on the unit.
R290 Refrigerant
EcoFlow uses R290 natural refrigerant in the WAVE 2.
R290 has a low global warming potential compared with many traditional refrigerants. Therefore, it provides a more environmentally conscious approach to portable cooling and heating.
IPX4 Water Resistance
The EcoFlow WAVE 2 carries an IPX4 rating.
This provides protection against splashing water and makes the unit more suitable for portable and outdoor applications.
However, the unit should still be operated and stored according to EcoFlow’s instructions.
