The EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max is a compact and expandable portable power station for camping, caravanning, home backup and mobile work.
It combines the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus with the EB300 Smart Extra Battery to provide a total capacity of 572Wh. In addition, it delivers 600W of continuous AC output and supports compatible appliances up to 1200W with X-Boost.
With fast charging, LiFePO4 battery technology and quiet operation, the RIVER 3 Max provides reliable portable power wherever you need it.
572Wh Expandable Capacity
The EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max combines two components:
- EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus – 286Wh
- EcoFlow EB300 Smart Extra Battery – 286Wh
Together, they provide 572Wh of total battery capacity.
The EB300 connects directly to the RIVER 3 Plus through EcoFlow’s Pogo Pin system. Therefore, you don’t need a separate battery connection cable.
The modular design also gives you more flexibility. For example, you can use the RIVER 3 Plus on its own when you need a smaller and lighter power station.
600W Output with 1200W X-Boost
The RIVER 3 Max provides 600W of continuous AC output.
This makes it suitable for laptops, TVs, lights, routers, camera equipment, drone chargers and portable refrigeration.
In addition, EcoFlow’s X-Boost technology supports compatible appliances up to 1200W. As a result, the RIVER 3 Max can operate a wider range of appliances than its compact size might suggest.
Long-Life LiFePO4 Battery
EcoFlow uses durable LiFePO4 battery technology in the RIVER 3 Max.
The battery provides up to 3,000 charge cycles before reaching approximately 80% of its original capacity. Therefore, it offers excellent longevity for regular camping, travelling and backup-power use.
Fast AC Charging
The RIVER 3 Max supports fast AC charging at up to 650W.
As a result, you can recharge the complete system from 0–100% in approximately 1.3 hours under suitable conditions.
This fast recharge time is particularly useful when preparing for a trip or recovering from a power outage.
Up to 220W Solar Charging
For off-grid use, the RIVER 3 Max supports up to 220W of solar input.
With suitable solar panels and good sunlight, you can recharge the system while camping, travelling or working remotely.
Therefore, the RIVER 3 Max provides a practical option for users who spend extended periods away from mains power.
Solar panels and solar charging cables are sold separately unless included in a specific bundle.

You can recharge the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max in several ways:

Less Than 10ms UPS
The EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max can also operate as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
