Important: The DJI AP100 Parachute is a single-use safety device. Once deployed, the complete parachute system must be replaced. For continued operational safety, DJI also recommends replacing the AP100 three years after activation, even if the system has not been deployed and all self-checks indicate normal operation.
- Minimum effective deployment altitude: 30 metres AGL. Below this height, the parachute may deploy but may not have sufficient time to fully inflate and reduce the descent speed.
- Maximum supported take-off weight: 15.8 kg (DJI Matrice 400 including the parachute).
- Stabilised descent rate: ≤ 5 m/s under DJI’s specified test conditions.
